TL Smith is at again, giving you the chills and the feels in White. This is the third installment of the Black series. We have loved all three books in this series, each consistently drawing us in and making us FEEL so damn much. The suspense and angst like any TL book, will keep you on edge. You never know what she is going to come up with next. Seriously where does she come up with some of her torture scenes? Jake, Jake, Jake, we wanted more of him in Black, we adored him in Red and loved and hurt for him in White. His life was never easy, it was painful to listen to his past but he never gave up. Addy was his saving grace, opening his eyes to the light after being surrounded by so much darkness. Addy and Jake’s relationship was like a yoyo, just when you think they have it held together everything quickly spirals down. Jake has always seen himself as broken, damaged, someone who needed to be fixed. Addy saw him as only needing a few stitches to hold himself together. “You don't need to change, Jake. You're not broken, you just need some stitches.” The final chapter and epilogue broke us, Kristy read through tears, while Kayla barely held it together. It was heartbreaking yet beautiful. While their life together took an unfair turn, having each other was enough to get through life. TL Smith has out done herself with the Black series, the suspense and angst in each book left us spellbound. You will have all the feels in each book. We would highly recommend this series! TL seems to go from strength to strength with every book she releases.
